Online Safety
- Don't share your home address, workplace, or daily schedule with strangers
- Don't send money to anyone you have not met in person, even if their story sounds urgent
- Don't share photos you would not want made public
- Beware of profiles that move very fast. "I love you" within 3 days is a red flag.
- Beware of profiles that immediately want to move the conversation off Longly (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram). That often signals a scam.
Meeting in Person
- Meet in a public place: coffee shop, restaurant, busy park
- Tell a friend where you are going and when you will be back
- Drive yourself or use a rideshare. Don't get into a car with someone you just met.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels off, leave.
- Stay sober enough to think clearly on a first date
Reporting
If you experience harassment, threats, or any concerning behavior:
- Use the in-app Report button on the profile or message

- For emergencies in India, dial 112
- For cybercrime, report at cybercrime.gov.in
Your safety is non-negotiable. We're rooting for you.
