Refund Policy

1. Our position on refunds

Longly sells digital subscriptions (Silver, Gold, Platinum) and one-off purchases (Boosts, Super Likes, Event tickets, Coach sessions). Because our services are delivered immediately upon purchase and are consumed digitally, all sales are final and non-refundable except in the specific cases listed below.

Important — platform billing: Subscriptions and in-app purchases made on Android are billed through Google Play Billing; on iOS through Apple In-App Purchases. Refunds for these purchases are governed by Google's and Apple's respective refund policies and must be requested through their platforms (see Section 4). Refunds for events and coach sessions booked in-app are processed by Razorpay and must be requested through Longly support.

2. When you MAY be eligible for a refund

  • Unauthorized charge — payment was processed without your consent (e.g., stolen card, fraud). Report to us + your bank within 3 days.
  • Technical failure — you were charged but the subscription did not activate, or a Coach session was cancelled by the Coach without rescheduling.
  • Double billing — the same plan was charged twice within 24 hours.
  • Event cancellation — if an organizer cancels a paid event and does not offer a replacement date, the ticket price is refunded (minus the Razorpay processing fee).

3. When refunds are NOT available

  • Change of mind after subscription activation
  • Unused portion of a subscription (prorated refunds are not issued)
  • Account suspension or ban for community guideline violations
  • Dissatisfaction with match quality, event experience, or coach session content
  • Forgetting to cancel before auto-renewal (see section 5)

4. How to request a refund

Android subscriptions & in-app purchases (Google Play Billing):
Google handles these refunds directly. Visit Google Play Help → Request a refund, or open the Google Play app → Account → Order history → select the order → Request a refund.

iOS subscriptions & in-app purchases (Apple):
Apple handles these refunds directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Longly purchase, and select "Request a refund."

Events and coach sessions (Razorpay):
Email support@longly.in within 7 days of the disputed charge with:

  • Razorpay payment ID (from your email receipt)
  • Registered phone number
  • Brief description of the issue

We acknowledge within 48 hours and investigate within 15 days. Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method by Razorpay, which may take an additional 5 to 10 business days to reflect.

5. Auto-renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. To cancel:

  • Android: Open Google Play app → Account → Subscriptions → Longly → Cancel subscription
  • iOS: Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Longly → Cancel subscription
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You keep access until then.
  • No refund is issued for the unused portion of the current cycle.

We do not automatically refund users who forget to cancel before auto-renewal, even if the service was not used after renewal.

6. Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, your Longly account may be immediately suspended pending investigation. We encourage you to contact support first so we can resolve the issue directly.
