What the Grievance Officer handles
- Complaints about content posted by other users that violates our Community Guidelines
- Requests to remove content about you (including your photos) posted without consent
- Privacy-related complaints about how your data is processed
- Allegations of impersonation, fraud, or misuse of the Longly platform
- Any other grievance not resolved by support within 7 days
How to file a complaint
Email grievance@longly.in with:
- Your registered phone number on Longly
- Clear description of the issue
- Screenshots or links to the offending content, if any
- The outcome you are seeking (content removal, account action, data correction, etc.)
Our commitment to you
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours.
- We will investigate and respond with an initial action plan within 15 days.
- For complaints relating to impersonation, explicit content, or non-consensual imagery, we take action within 24 hours of verification.
- If your complaint cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up under IT Rules 2021.
Appellate Committee
If dissatisfied with the Grievance Officer's decision, you may file an appeal within 30 days to the Grievance Appellate Committee established under Section 4A of the IT Rules 2021. Details: https://gac.gov.in
