Yes. Every member completes a live selfie verification during signup. This is non-negotiable — it's how we keep catfish, bots, and fake profiles off the platform. The photo is compared against your profile picture and then deleted from active storage.
Your phone number is how we confirm you are real and how we reach you if there is a safety concern. Your number is never shown to other users.
Open the app → Settings → Account → Delete account. We remove your profile immediately and purge your data within 30 days, per our Privacy Policy. Some data is retained longer where Indian law requires it.
We compare 12 signals — astrology, interests, lifestyle, medical, values, travel, hobbies, and more. Each match gets a score out of 100. Above 70 usually means strong overlap. You see the breakdown on the profile, so you can decide for yourself.
For Indians considering long-term relationships or marriage, conditions like thalassemia or blood group compatibility matter. The questions are optional, and answers are only shown if both sides opt in.
Yes. Every profile declares intent upfront. You will not be shown profiles whose intent does not overlap with yours. If someone changes intent later, you can unmatch at any time.
Nearby surfaces compatible people currently within a few kilometres. Crossed Paths shows matches you physically passed by in the last 7 days — the stranger on the metro, the cafe, the flight. We never share exact coordinates; only approximate proximity.
No. We never share your exact coordinates. Other users see only approximate distance (e.g. "3 km away"), never a pin on a map.
Our chat auto-detects and blocks attempts to share phone numbers, Instagram handles, WhatsApp links, and similar personal identifiers. This keeps the conversation on Longly where we can protect you, and prevents scammers from pulling you off the platform.
Every report is reviewed by our team within 24 hours. For serious issues — harassment, impersonation, non-consensual imagery — we act within 24 hours of verification. Repeat offenders are permanently banned. Read our Community Guidelines.

Yes, the Free plan covers matching, chat, and verification. Paid plans (Silver, Gold, Platinum) unlock events access, extended compatibility reports, priority matching, and coach sessions. See Pricing.
Yes — open the app → Settings → Subscription → Cancel renewal. Your access continues until the end of the billing cycle, and no further charges are made.
All sales are final as a rule, but we honour refunds for billing errors, duplicate charges, and technical failures that prevented access. Read the Refund Policy for the full picture.
All prices displayed include 18% GST. Payments are processed by Razorpay; you will receive a GST-compliant invoice by email after each charge.

Only verified Longly members can attend. Event sizes are small (typically 10 to 30 people). Every event has a host on-site, and organisers check IDs at the door. Read our Safety Tips before your first meet.
