Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow sites to remember information about your visit, like your preferences or whether you are signed in.
The Longly website uses cookies for three purposes:
Required for the site to function. These do not collect personal data. Examples: session cookies, CSRF protection tokens, language preference.
Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics (via Firebase) with IP anonymization enabled. Data collected: pages visited, time on page, device type, rough geographic region. Never tied to your identity.
Used to remember choices you make on the site (such as accepting the cookie notice). These do not track you across other websites.
The Longly Android and iOS apps do not use browser cookies. They use local storage and Firebase authentication tokens. The app's data handling is covered in our Privacy Policy.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Note that some parts of the site may not function correctly if essential cookies are disabled.
If we change how we use cookies, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised.
